Wild Rice Casserole

Easy, elegant casserole serves four to six. Cook at 350° for 1 hour. Preparation time, 15 minutes.

1 cup cooked wild rice
1/2 cup diced celery
1 can mushrooms
1/2 cup chopped onion
1 teaspoons poultry seasoning
salt and pepper
1/2 cup ground meat
1/4 cup almonds or cashews
1/2 can consomme

Fry ground meat, drain, and crumble.
Saute celery, mushrooms, onions.
Add everything but the nuts to a covered casserole.
Cook at 350° for one hour.
Add the nuts after 45 minutes.

A bit of tomato juice is also good.

Serve with a colorful salad and crisp rolls.
