This site is dedicated to the memory of my mother Jean Chapple, who was a wonderful cook and a gracious hostess.

Mom firmly believed that money spent on healthy food was one of the best investments a family could make, and if it were served in style on elegant china, so much the better.

Recipes 101 is based on the extensive collection of recipes in her files ... boxes and boxes of recipes that were tested and treasured. We hope you enjoy them.
