Raspberry Punch

A tasty and unusual punch to serve warm.

4 cups raspberry cocktail (1 liter)
2 cups orange juice, sweetened (500 mL)
12 oz. frozen raspberries, thawed (300 g)
2 or 3 cinnamon sticks
1 tsp ground allspice (5 mL)
1/4 tsp ground nutmeg (1 mL)
2 oranges, thinly sliced
8 oz. light rum, optional

  1. Combine all ingredients, except for the raspberries, orange slices and rum in a large covered saucepan.
  2. Simmer for 20 - 30 minutes.
  3. Stir in raspberries, orange slices and rum if desired.
  4. Pour into a heated punch bowl.
